What could go wrong

Malvina Baja, Stacey Johnson

What can go wrong whilst shooting our domestic violence campaign advert?

When filming the domestic violence campaign advert during the abusing scenes it is going to be shot I public place and because there is a lot of people walking around they could take it in the wrong way and inform the police. We could let people know that we are filing by putting up a sign that we are shooting an abusive campaign advert or as for permission or we can go to a less public place and film our abuse shots there. We will inform people that we filing for our

Also for copyright reasons we may not know we are doing it and accidently film a building without us even knowing we could then go and ask the people that won the building instead of shooting the scene again because filming around someone’s business could get us into trouble if we do not ask for permission. Also filming people without peoples consent could also get us in to trouble because people may not want to be caught on camera also if people are walking past all the time it could ruin our shot making us have to start over again which can be time consuming. A way to resolve this problem is to then ask the people if they can step out of the shot or inform them that it is only for our media project. Whilst shooting our domestic violence campaign advert when editing we could realise that there ae some people in the shots at the wrong time this will then lead to us having to go back and shoot the scene again one way we could avoid this problem is by looking over our footage before leaving the place where the shoot was filmed or going to a less public place where there are less people so it is easier and quicker for us to inform them of what we are doing. Because we are in a public place there will be a lot of noise going on around us and might disturb us whilst shooting and the noise may not go with the shoot we are filing to resolve this problem we could chose a more quite peaceful are where there is less noise. Whilst filing people may get offended with what shoots we are filming such as the abusive shots again could us a less public place are inform the people that it is only to prove a point for our media project.

What we will actually be doing if any of these incidents occur.

We will inform people that we are filming for our media project. Also if these don’t work we will just have to change the complete location and our film our domestic violence campaign advert somewhere else where there is no people and if that still doesn’t work we will then have to film our domestic violence campaign advert inside and outside of the college.

BCAP codes of conduct

BCAP codes of conduct

Advertisements must not condone or encourage violence, crime, disorder or
Anti-social behaviour.

In the campaign advert the actors will not encourage violence crime disorder or anti-social behaviour this is because we will warn people in advanced, and at the end so people have a clear understanding of what message we are trying to send to everyone. We will also make sure we find suitable locations to not disturb or distress anyone.

Advertisements must contain nothing that could cause physical, mental, and moral
Or social harm to persons under the age of 18.

We will be making sure that this won’t be happening because we will be sending a message out that people that are involved in domestic violence should come out and speak about it and get help. The people in the advert will make sure that everyone know that what people are dealing with is serious and won’t make fun of people that are actually involved in domestic violence at the end of our campaign advert there will be a message that there are people out there that can help them resulting in more people coming forward and more people getting out of domestic violence and less people getting hurt.

Advertisements must not include material that is likely to condone or encourage
Behaviour that prejudices health or safety.

Our campaign advert will be trying to stop domestic violence and it will be clear in the advert that we are trying to stop domestic violence and not encourage it we will be discouraging the fact that some people think it is normal to be physically or emotionally hurt will be discouraged and making it clear that it is not normal and making people aware of the after effects of being in a domestic violent relationship for too long could be toxic and letting people know it’s never too late to leave and seek for help and encourage putting your health and safety first before anyone else.

Advertisements must not condone or encourage harmful discriminatory
Behaviour or treatment. Advertisements must not prejudice respect for human
Dignity.

in our advert we will make it clear for everyone to know that being treated badly is never right and you should always exclude yourself from situations that involve domestic violence because our advert is not only for people that are involved in domestic violence but also for everyone else in the future they know what to do and also they know the signs at the beginning of being involved in domestic violence.

References to anyone who is dead must be handled with particular care to avoid causing offence or distress.
in our advert at the end we will be giving out some facts about how many people where effected by domestic violence and how many people died  because we know that some people will get offended if we use peoples full names will only be adding their first name and changing their last name to something different but if their full name has been in he news then we will be using their full name also at the end we will be letting people know that wee don't mean any offence to anyone and we are just trying to make awareness of domestic violence.

Advert

Image result for second a day
Second a day;

A second the day is based on a little girl's life and how it changes every day and is seen as a so A second the day is based on a little girl's life and how it changes every day and it's scene as a shot  of one second of the day it shows how her life is changing each day this is a campaign for the third world countries that are going for the same problems have children like her whose lives have  changed completely it shows the stereotypical family in Britain that look ordinary and normal happy and full of joy this shows the audience that anyone's life can change in  just a second. The location is used on normal typical British homes which thing get destroyed. Purpose of this advert is to show people how people's lives are and also to ask them for help because the audience now I feel some kind of sympathy towards the little girl there who want to help even more.that's very soon on many adult related channels this is because the target audience for the advert is adults. Advert is usually soon towards the night where adults are usually at home watching TV relaxing of thought they come home from work this makes them think about how lucky they are to even have a job and a house making them feel sympathetic. In the advert do use a little girl because the audience will feel more sympathetic towards the little girl rather than an older person but this doesn't mean that it's only happening to younger children also these close ups of the little girl in every shot to sue the motions and how  her emotions change throughout the whole advert and how they change every second which is every day. The advert has used the name and second a day  so how quick the little girl's life is running out .

This advert is very powerful because it's not like any other normal ordinary advert which just shows a child in a third world country it shows an ordinary looking girl its life has been changed in a matter of  minutes because the advert is so powerful more and more people will help out and they need money to help people like the girl that lives have been changed.At the beginning of the advert the little girl was surrounded by her family family and at the end is only surrounded by her mother this makes people take their family for granted so great guilt at the beginning of the advert the little girl was surrounded by her family family and at the end is only surrounded by her mother this makes people take their family for granted fill guilty  this thing reminds the audience that they are lucky to have what we have and also learnt to cherish things they have in their life.

Factual programme~ life and death row.

Factual programme; Life and death row is a documentary that has one series and 8 episodes it is about people that have done wrong and how are sentencing execution the documentary explores the different views people have on the sentencing and looking the offenders view. Life and death row is shown on BBC three at 10pm and its target audience is young adults and older people most of the offenders in life and death row are usually young so the programme educates young adults that this could happen to you if you went in the wrong direction and it is shown at 10pm because the programme is not suitable for younger children and teenagers therefore by placing it on BBC three at 10pm the less children will watch it because they are usually in bed early for the next day at school. The reason it is shown on BBC three is because BBC three holds most of the interesting documentary suitable for young and older adults therefore the more of life and death rows target audience will watch it.

 The key techniques that are used;
In life and death row  they have used reporters and old news that are where filmed when the crime took place in life and death row they usually interview the offender and the offenders family also to get an outside option on the execution they use a normal ordinary person which is seen in most factual programmes this is so the audience can get a clear understanding of how different pope le see the situation making them want to add an opinion in as well.

 In life and death row  The cameraman follows the family of the offenders and the person has been murdered family this is to show how each family  is coping with the situation the audience then get the different you of the situation from each family and the audience start to create some kind of sympathy towards the offender. It also shows how each family now have to get to terms with what is going on also showing that they do they live after the situation has occurred. There are hardly any voice overs in life and death row.in life and ever in life and death row  The media always is involved and in the documentary they show news reporters standing outside of where the offender is being executed this makes the documentary more lifelike and real for the audience.

TV drama

Top boy was shown on Chanelle four at 8pm the reason for this is because more of the young children would be in bed by this time where as teenagers and young adults will not also Chanelle four is mostly watched my teenagers and young adults. The reason for top boy is show younger people how some teenagers day to day life is actually like and to show that if you was to end up going in the wrong direction that is how your life will end up top boy consists of drug dealing and has many violent scenes this is show how the younger generation is turning into and how everything they do results in violence or use of drugs.

The codes and conventions;
Top boy is placed in Summerhouse housing estate in Hackney, East London where it's stereo type is usually gang related things and crime and drug dealing which fits into what the tb drama is based on.The typical probs that are used in top boy are guns knifes drugs alcohol and mobile phones. The characters in Top boy are usually  from ethnic backgrounds such as Spanish Albanian black Caribbean ect. so they are portrayed as dangerous and violently aggressive people which is the stereotype of their ethnic people. Also went up boy is set is in blocks of flats where usually all the drug dealing and the violence get carried out in this is a stereotypical repersentation of people that live in blocks of flats and in the rough neighbourhood. Also in some scenes of top boy it is set in the Porsche big houses this is because some stereotypical people that live in the posh houses also get involved in drug dealing and the crime top boys trying to show us that drugs and violence don't always happen in the rough neighbourhoods. The typical costumes that the characters in top boy where are usually don't tracksuits also the higher status status people that I'm at the top of the drug game where all the expensive designer clothes  this shows the audience that the more you do  in drug dealing you won't always get as much as the people at the top which don't do as much also discount so the audience that job dealing and violence is pointless and I will get and it won't get you anywhere.
In top boy most of the drug dealers are mail this is a stereotypical representation of how only male people get involved in drugs and violence also the women that are used in tob boy are used  for sexual things and also as people who go and investigate things for the male drug dealers.

Why we use devices and apps conversation with my mum and cousin and there views and opinions about using devices and apps

What devices do you use and also what apps do you use?and how often?
Mum; i use my phone everyday to call and text people and apps I usually go on Facebook but not as much as I used to.

How important is technology to you:
Mum; its not like I couldn't live with out it but some times it does come in handy when I need to contact someone fast but other then that there's no reason I couldn't live without it because we never used to have iPhones and samsungs before.

Is digital technology good or bad and is it difficult to use?
Mum; digital technology isn't really that bad but again you could live with out it also it's a quicker way of finding things out also it isn't really difficult to use once you get used to it but in the begining it is quite confusing.

Do you think young children and adults have become too addicted to devises and apps?
Mum; of course especially you when ever I see you, you always have some kind of device on you so it's good for parents to limit the time their children spend on devices and actually do things that are  useful such as home work and reading news papers and finding out what's really going on with the world instead of reading things online which might not always be true but, to answer you question yes children and young adults are begining to be addicted to their devices and also with all these social media apps such as Instagram and snapchat and whattsapp more and more people feel the need to have these app to communicate with people and they are becoming anti social and children are more confident online rather then off line in the real world.

Cousin aged 16:

What devices do you use and also what apps do you use?and how often?
Cousin;I use my iPhone 6s almost everyday to communicate with my friends and also I used snapchat Instagram whattsapp Twitter and I use these apps all the time when I'm free and as soon as I've finished school to find out what everyone is doing

How important is technology to you?
Cousin; technology is very important to me I couldn't live with out it I always need to know what's going on and what everyone's latest picture is on Instagram and what celebrities are tweeting about other people and also to see what everyone is doing on snapchat also it's a very good way to communicate with friends on whattsapp because you can make a group chat which you can have all of your close friends or even people that your friends know and you can all talk about things and meet new people same with Instagram and Twitter.

Is digital technology a good or bad thing and is it difficult to use?
Digital technology is definitely not a bad thing because it is more simple and more fun to use also at first it's not that easy but once your on it nearly every single day then you get used to it and you can do things quicker when your more used to it.

Do you thing children and young adults have become to addicted to devices and apps?
To be honest yes this is the one time where children rely on technology and devices and apps to do everything for them even tho I'm aware of this I can't stop using them because that's the whole idea of  being addicted to something it becomes normal for me to use it everyday but older people may have a diffrent opinion on using devices and apps everyday because they wasn't used to it when they was young.

I decided to use my mum because she's older and she knows how it's like to be young and no one have iPhones elect.  and apps such as Instagram and Snapchat etc. So she could tell me how purple her age and older see all of these divces and apps and how people in the world have changed ever since all these apps and devices whre created. I also used my cousin which is the same age as me so you could see how devices and apps are from our point of view children and young adults don't dee devices and apps as such a threat to us because we are used to them and we was brought up in a world where it was seen to be normal to have an iPhone or a Samsung and to have Instagram and snapchat because it makes us feel like we can connect with more people but it's true when my mum said thts children and young adults see becoming more confident online rather then offline in the real world.

Overall devices and apps have become such a big part of everyday life I don't think it will ever change also older people and begining to use devices and apps because it's becoming more normal and more  convenient to have all these new devices and apps so they can feel connected with everyone and normal.
