A trip to the moon
In a scene in "a trip to the moon" there was a scene where the moon was coming closer people where shocked by this because it ha Denver happened before and people didn't know how they made the moon look like it was coming closer.
"A trip to the moon" is about people going into a rocket and going to the moon this time the film is a bit more complicated because still short and simple because they had more of an idea of how to edit and make things look more complicated. The film was black and white and still had no narrative so they had to make sure that the film was still clear enough for people to understand even with out any narrative.
a film that unravels how cinema works and highlights the elements of all successful science fiction movies. Most films were brief, non-edited and scenes of daily life thanks to the jammed camera, he learned that if different scenes were put together your eyes would fill in the blanks and experience the film as one continuous story which is why 'a trip to the moon' was different to any other old film.Méliès's "trick films" worked for people because visually people has built in shortcuts for motion detection called visual persistence.
