BCAP codes of conduct

BCAP codes of conduct

Advertisements must not condone or encourage violence, crime, disorder or
Anti-social behaviour.

In the campaign advert the actors will not encourage violence crime disorder or anti-social behaviour this is because we will warn people in advanced, and at the end so people have a clear understanding of what message we are trying to send to everyone. We will also make sure we find suitable locations to not disturb or distress anyone.

Advertisements must contain nothing that could cause physical, mental, and moral
Or social harm to persons under the age of 18.

We will be making sure that this won’t be happening because we will be sending a message out that people that are involved in domestic violence should come out and speak about it and get help. The people in the advert will make sure that everyone know that what people are dealing with is serious and won’t make fun of people that are actually involved in domestic violence at the end of our campaign advert there will be a message that there are people out there that can help them resulting in more people coming forward and more people getting out of domestic violence and less people getting hurt.

Advertisements must not include material that is likely to condone or encourage
Behaviour that prejudices health or safety.

Our campaign advert will be trying to stop domestic violence and it will be clear in the advert that we are trying to stop domestic violence and not encourage it we will be discouraging the fact that some people think it is normal to be physically or emotionally hurt will be discouraged and making it clear that it is not normal and making people aware of the after effects of being in a domestic violent relationship for too long could be toxic and letting people know it’s never too late to leave and seek for help and encourage putting your health and safety first before anyone else.

Advertisements must not condone or encourage harmful discriminatory
Behaviour or treatment. Advertisements must not prejudice respect for human
Dignity.

in our advert we will make it clear for everyone to know that being treated badly is never right and you should always exclude yourself from situations that involve domestic violence because our advert is not only for people that are involved in domestic violence but also for everyone else in the future they know what to do and also they know the signs at the beginning of being involved in domestic violence.

References to anyone who is dead must be handled with particular care to avoid causing offence or distress.
in our advert at the end we will be giving out some facts about how many people where effected by domestic violence and how many people died  because we know that some people will get offended if we use peoples full names will only be adding their first name and changing their last name to something different but if their full name has been in he news then we will be using their full name also at the end we will be letting people know that wee don't mean any offence to anyone and we are just trying to make awareness of domestic violence.

  1. This is mainly well written work in which you have understood the code. You could have thought about using release forms for any children filmed. V and C
